This Privacy Policy explains how Voxa ("Voxa", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the Voxa mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information

You sign in with Google or Apple. We receive your email address and, where you allow it, your name. We do not receive or store your Google/Apple password.

Profile & learning data

• Profile details you set: username, avatar and your app and learning languages.
• Learning activity: your role-play conversations, pronunciation attempts and scores, saved vocabulary and flashcards, grammar mistakes, and progress such as XP, streaks and rank.

Device & technical data

• A push-notification token, if you enable notifications.
• Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your information

• To provide the core features: conversations, pronunciation scoring, vocabulary and progress tracking.
• To personalise content to your chosen languages.
• To send notifications you have opted into.
• To maintain, secure and improve the Service.

AI processing

Core features rely on artificial intelligence. To generate replies and score your speech, the text of your messages and the audio or transcript of your pronunciation attempts are sent to our AI provider (currently OpenAI) for processing. We ask you not to share sensitive personal information in your conversations.

Third-party services

We share limited data with providers that help us run the Service:

• Google & Apple — sign-in and authentication.
• OpenAI — generating conversation replies and pronunciation scores.
• Push notification provider — delivering notifications.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time from the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by following the steps on our Delete Account page. When you delete your account, your profile and learning data are permanently removed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. To make a request, contact us at support@voxaaiapp.com.

Children

Voxa is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
